What we don’t collect

Most tools on this site run entirely in your browser. When you format JSON, generate a password, encode Base64, or generate a UUID, that input is processed locally on your device and never transmitted to Wanodev or anyone else. Tools that handle particularly sensitive input display a visible notice on the page confirming this — the same “processed entirely in your browser” notice referenced in our content guidelines, which is only ever shown when it is technically true.

Analytics

Wanodev uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which tools are used, roughly how many visitors the site gets, and which pages need attention. GA4 does not load, and no analytics cookies are set, until you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no GA4 script runs and no analytics cookies are set.

Sensitive tool inputs — anything typed or pasted into a tool marked with the browser-only notice, such as the password generator — are never sent to GA4 or any analytics service, regardless of your cookie choice. That data never leaves your browser in the first place, so there is nothing to exclude after the fact.

No data is sold

Wanodev does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Aggregate, anonymized analytics data from GA4, subject to Google’s own privacy terms, is the only data collected about visitors — and only once you have consented to it.

Cookies and local storage

Two things are stored in your browser, and only two:

• Theme preference — stored inlocalStorage, not a cookie. It records whether you’re using the dark or light theme so the site remembers your choice on your next visit. It never leaves your device.
• GA4 cookies — set only after you accept the cookie banner. Used by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and sessions for aggregate reporting.
