Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This page lists the specific cookies and browser storage Wanodev uses, as referenced in thePrivacy Policy.

What’s stored, and why

  • Theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie) — stores whether you’re using the dark or light theme. Set as soon as you use the theme toggle, or automatically once you accept or decline cookies. Never sent to a server, never expires on its own, and isn’t used for tracking of any kind.
  • Cookie consent choice (localStorage) — stores whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so you aren’t asked again on every page.
  • GA4 cookies (set only after you accept) — Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies, typically including one to identify a unique visitor and another to identify a session, used to build aggregate traffic reports. Declining the banner means none of these are ever set.
  • Advertising cookies — none, currently. Wanodev does not yet show ads. If advertising (such as EthicalAds) is added later, this page will be updated first to disclose whatever cookies or tracking that involves, before it goes live.

Managing your choice

The cookie banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered, so you won’t see the banner again unless you clear your browser’s stored data for this site.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and local storage on a per-site basis, in their privacy or security settings — look for “Site settings” in Chrome, or “Cookies and Site Data” in Firefox, as examples. Clearing this site’s data resets both your cookie choice and your theme preference.
